The Amore Diamond

The Amore diamond is cut by placing all the facets at exact angles and proportions. It has a special combination between the crown angle and pavilion angle that brings the most brilliance from the stone to the viewer's eye. The Super Ideal Cut demands that every one of the 58 facets are the exact, same shape and size; are perfectly aligned and placed at exact angles- creating a hall of mirrors effect for the optimum refraction of light.

The proportion of the Amore diamond creates an optimum balance for maximum brilliance and fire, creating a more dazzling sparkle and an enhanced prism effect. One of the most important factors that defines an Amore diamond is that its pattern must be symmetrical and vivid.

Amore diamonds “face up” brighter for their color than diamonds cut to lower standards, because they reflect and refract the most possible light back to the naked eye. Interestingly enough, not only do they sparkle more, they also look bigger, for their, size than any imitators of the same effect.

Even the most discerning consumer cannot dispute the beauty and perfection of these diamonds, after having seen the Hearts & Arrows patterns through the Amore viewer for themselves.

When the Amore diamond is viewed upside down under an Amore viewer (your Amore diamond retailer will have one on hand), it will reveal a beautiful pattern of 8 symmetrical hearts. When viewed from above, you will see an intense symmetrical fire burst phenomenon. Only diamonds cut to the stringent and precise Amore diamond standards will reveal such definitive and crisp patterns.

One of the special features of Amore diamonds is the laser inscription on the girdle. Each Amore diamond bears a unique serial number of the stone's certificate as well as the Amore diamond logo so you can always check the diamond against its original certificate and the Amore Diamond Document®.
